A single layer can have a bigger impact than you think. This pullover may look unassuming, but once you have it on, you won't need anything else. Made with a unique active mesh, consisting of hollow, tube-like fibers with radial extensions that absorb sweat, quick-drying capabilities are at its highest, supporting insulation and heat-shielding properties to keep you cozy in the coldest conditions or even just at home, all while reducing weight by half compared to yarns of comparable thickness. The sheer possibilities are endless.

Baggy fit around the middle, poor choice for layering
The material is good, but the fit is weird. It's baggy around the middle, and tight around the chest/shoulders. Too loose to layer well, not big enough to be an outer layer.

Magic heat generator.
Could never get ahold of anything made of alpha so I can't compare. I wear this as a mid layer over a 150 wt merino long sleeve and under a Montane wind shirt. Good to 4f wind chill, toasty warm. In camp a Golite vest over the Airmesh and a Frogg Toggs is as warm as any puffy I own.

Best Fleece I've Owned
I own several midlayers including a few alpha pieces and this 1/2 zip airmesh is my go-to. It compares to an alpha 60 but a lot more durable with the jersey mesh. I prefer the ventilation of the 1/2 zip over the hooded version.
